Aleppo Spice

Aleppo, or Halaby, is named for the ancient Syrian city of Halab. The pepper is a subtle tongue buzz with fragrant notes and mild heat.  Made from dried Halaby peppers, it suffuses dips, sauces and meats with a brick-red tint.
